MCCRACKEN COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Three men from Paducah are now facing drug charges after an investigation by the McCracken County Sheriff's Department.

Deputies say around 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 2, detectives saw some people acting suspiciously at Walgreens on Lone Oak Road in Paducah. Detectives stopped the vehicle, driven by 47-year-old Robert Cox, for a traffic violation.

During the stop, detectives found meth and meth paraphernalia on Cox and also on 24-year-old Tyler Stinnett.

Stinnett also had a box of Sudafed, according to deputies, which is a precursor for manufacturing meth.

It was also discovered that 18-year-old Cameron Snelling had bought Sudafed at the Walgreens and taken it to Stinnett in exchange for cash, knowing it would be used for making meth.

Cox had also recently made several purchases of Sudafed and taken the Sudafed to another person in exchange for meth, according to officials.

Then around 6 p.m. Tuesday, a search warrant was used at Cox's home on Sunset Drive in Paducah. During the search, detectives found more meth paraphernalia and also small amounts of meth.

Cox was charged with traffic violations, possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful distribution of a meth precursor. He could face more charges for the items detectives found at his home.

Stinnett was charged with possession of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of a meth precursor.

Snelling was charged with unlawful distribution of a meth precursor.

All three were taken to the McCracken County Regional Jail.
