MO senators call for USPS to delay consolidations

MISSOURI (KFVS) -

Some Missouri senators have called for USPS to delay a planned consolidation of up to 82 U.S. Postal Service mail processing facilities, including two in Missouri.

Senators Roy Blunt and Claire McCaskill joined a group of their colleagues in sending a letter. It was sent after the USPS inspector general found the postal service failed to fulfill its obligations to adequately study the impact of the consolidations and failed to inform the public of those impacts.
