3 sentenced to IDOC in November

SALINE COUNTY, IL (KFVS) -

Three people were sentenced in November 2014 in the Saline County Circuit Court, according Michael J. Henshaw, state's attorney of Saline County.

Edward M. Hopkins was sentenced on Nov. 24 by Judge Walden Morris to 18 years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and two years mandatory supervised release for residential burglary.

Hopkins was also sentenced to three months in the Saline County Law Enforcement and Detention Center for criminal damage to property.

Madison Cody Stefko was sentenced on Nov. 25 by Judge Walden Morris to four years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and one year mandatory supervised release for methamphetamine possession.

Casey A. Heflin was sentenced on Nov. 18 by Judge Todd Lambert to three years in the Illinois Department of Corrections and one year mandatory release for the criminal damage to government supported property.
