CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

The Cape Girardeau, Missouri Fire Department was called to the Old Navy store on William street about 1 a.m. on Saturday morning.

They had a report of a "popping noise" and the smell of smoke in the Old Navy store located in West Park Mall.

Fire and smoke were confined to the area of origin and the store itself.

Ameren UE arrived on scene and secured the utilities.

No injuries were reported. Employees said the store was open for business on Saturday morning.
