West Frankfort, IL pair facing meth charges

WEST FRANKFORT, IL (KFVS) -

A man and woman from West Frankfort, Illinois are facing meth charges after police say they found an active meth lab at a home on W. Lidell Street.

Jeremy A. Breckenridge, 32, and Amie D. Wilson, 23, were both charged with unlawful possession of methamphetamine manufacturing materials, unlawful possession of methamphetamine-more than 400 grams but less than 900 grams and unlawful participation in methamphetamine production.

According to the West Frankfort Police Department, on Nov. 18 around 7:09 p.m. they received a call about unknown individuals going in and out of an abandoned home on W. Lidell Street.

When police arrived, they say they found Breckenridge and Wilson hiding.

Police say they also found an active meth lab.

Breckenridge and Wilson were arrested without incident and taken to the West Frankfort Police Department. They were then taken to the Franklin County Jail.

According to police, the ISP Meth Team was called to the scene where they took photographs, collected evidence and dismantled the meth lab.
