Troopers: Man seriously injured after another man drives off road, hits shop building

PATTON, MO (KFVS) -

A 74-year-old Patton, Missouri man was injured after the Missouri State Highway Patrol says a car ran off the road and hit a shop building.

According to highway patrol, around 1:45 p.m. on Nov. 19, William G. Kramper, 75, was driving a 2000 Ford Expedition eastbound on Highway JJ, about 4 miles southeast of Patton, Mo.

They say the Expedition ran off the right side of the road, overcorrected, ran off the left side of the road and hit a wooden shop building.

Inside the building was Perry Long, 74. He was also hit by the vehicle and was seriously injured.

Long was taken to a Cape Girardeau hospital by ambulance.
