EMS officials say the Cape Girardeau County Emergency Management Agency and the Cape Girardeau County sheriff's Office, are testing newly installed outdoor weather warning sirens.
The sirens are located in the out county areas of Cape Girardeau County, Missouri.
The tests will are scheduled for November 19-21 during day hours.
If threatening weather is in the general area, the tests will be postponed for another date. The sirens may sound several times during the test period.
The sirens within City of Cape Girardeau, City of Jackson and Southeast Missouri State University will not be tested.
EMS says the Cape Girardeau County Siren System is not being utilized as a warning system until the system has been fully tested to verify proper operation.
