CALLOWAY COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

The Calloway County Sheriff's Office says a 79-year-old man died after a crash on KY 121 South, near Cherry Corner Road.

According to the sheriff's office, on Monday, Nov. 17 around 10:50 a.m., they received a report of a crash.

They say the first people on the scene reported that the vehicle had apparently rolled over and the driver was trapped inside.

Deputies say Kenneth Post of New Concord, Ky. was going northbound on KY 121 South when he failed to negotiate the corner at Cherry Corner Road.

The vehicle appeared to have dropped off the right shoulder of the road, went into a ditch and overturned at least three times. It then came to a rest upright in a yard.

Deputies say the driver had to be removed from the car. He was declared dead at the scene by the Calloway County Coroner.
