Police: Slick highway causes crash in St. Francois County

ST. FRANCOIS COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Two people were injured after a crash on a slick highway on Sunday in St. Francois County, Missouri.

According to the Missouri Highway Patrol, it happened around 11:25 on southbound US 67 at Route Y.

Both vehicles were traveling southbound on us-67 when a driver lost control on the slick road.

The front right of of the vehicle struck the left side of another vehicle and traveled off the right side of the road before overturning.

An occupant in the second car was taken to an area hospital with moderate injuries. The driver of the first vehicle was taken by by private car to a hospital.
