Jefferson Co. officials looking for armed robbery suspect

JEFFERSON COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

The Jefferson County Sheriff's Department is asking for information about a reported robbery on Wednesday, Nov. 12.

Deputies were called to Phillips 66 Midwest Petroleum in the 2800 block of Montauk in Festus for a robbery around 10:40 p.m.

A store clerk said a white male suspect came into the store showing a semi-automatic pistol and pointed it at the store clerk and a customer.

The suspect told the store clerk to open the cash register and give him all the cash. He was able to get an undetermined amount of money and fled on foot.

The suspect is described as a white male around 5'10”, medium build, approximately 180 pounds. He was seen wearing black pants, a black sweatshirt, black ski mask, black tennis shoes with a white stripe and gloves.
