Marion, Illinois Guard Robby Dosier signed a National Letter of Intent to play basketball for the SEMO Redhawks in 2015-16.

The 6'3", 170-pound shooting guard who has the ability to get to the rim and knock down shots from the perimeter. He averaged close to 10 points and four rebounds per game as a junior at Marion High School.

"We are pleased to announce that Robby has signed with the Redhawks today," said Southeast head coach Dickey Nutt. "He is a young man who we had our eyes on simply because he can flat out shoot the ball. He comes from an outstanding family and plays for a great coach at Marion High School. We think Robby has the chance to become an outstanding college player. He is a gym rat, loves the game, can stretch the floor with his range and brings that swagger that it takes to be successful."

"Robby is a good athlete and is a catch-and-shoot guy," Marion High School coach Shane Hawkins said. "I believe that his best basketball is ahead of him. He is in the gym all the time working on his skill and I think that is why he earned the opportunity to sign a Division I scholarship."

Dosier spent his freshman and sophomore years at Carbondale High School before moving to Marion for his junior year.

Other schools that showed interest in Dosier included Lipscomb, Northeastern, SIU, Missouri State, Western Illinois, Austin Peay, Navy, South Dakota State, Eastern Illinois, Oakland and Rice.

Wednesday marked the first day of the early signing period.
