Tamms, IL resident wins McDonald's Monopoly, gas for a year

TAMMS, IL (KFVS) -

A Tamms, Illinois resident has won the 2014 Monopoly game at McDonald's.

After ordering a #2 extra value meal, Angela L. peeled off Oriental Avenue, revealing she won Shell fuel for a year.

Angela was on her way home from shopping when she stopped at the Pinckneyville McDonald's. She peeled the Monopoly piece off of her drink and realized she had won.

This year is the 22nd season for the game.

To play the game, consumers were able to collect game pieces on different menu items.
