FULTON COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Fulton County police have arrested two juveniles in connection with cemetery vandalism.

Fifty-one headstones at the Cayce United Methodist Cemetery were found knocked over and damaged on Sunday, according to the Fulton County Sheriff's Department.

Officials say the headstones were vandalized sometime between Saturday night and Sunday morning.

Larry Gardner, cemetery manager, said he doesn't understand how anyone could do this.

"You just kind of wonder why anyone would have that much disrespect for the families that have loved ones buried here," Gardner said.

Fulton County police say the two juveniles have been charged with criminal mischief in the first degree.
