Carbondale, Illinois police are investigating after a report of gunshots overnight.
On Saturday around 12:15 a.m., officers responded to a home in the 700 block of W. Cherry Street to the report.
Police say no one was struck in that incident.
Then around 1:57 a.m., the City of Carbondale Police Department responded to a residence in the 500 block of W. Cherry Street in reference to a report of gun shots.
Officers say a 23-year-old male had suffered a non-life threatening gunshot wound.
The investigation is continuing.
