PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - A sheriff's office says a man faces charges after a two vehicle crash Saturday in western Kentucky.
It happened Saturday shortly before 12:45 p.m. at the intersection of Cairo Road and Coleman Road in McCracken County.
According to the sheriff's office, an 80-year-old woman was driving a car on Coleman Road, and failed to stop at the intersection of Coleman and Cairo.
Witnesses and evidence showed the woman's vehicle hit another vehicle driven by Timothy Hutcheson, 31, of Paducah.
Hutcheson and Cavanaugh were both taken to an area hospital for possible non-life threatening injuries.
The sheriff's office said Hutcheson was suspected to be under the influence at the time of the collision.
Hutcheson was charged with operating motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs 1st offense, operating on a suspended/revoked driver's license and failure to Produce an Insurance card.
The investigation was done by the sheriff's office.
The sheriff's department was assisted at the scene by the Concord Fire/Rescue and Mercy Regional.
