GRAVES COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Sheriff Dewayne Redmon reports a Mayfield, Kentucky couple face a number of felony drug charges.

Angel Medinan was charged with two counts of possession of controlled substance 1st degree, firearm enhanced trafficking marijuana, possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

Tracy Sanderson was charged with firearm enhanced trafficking marijuana, possession of handgun by a convicted felon and possession of drug paraphernalia.

The charges are a result of a traffic stop and followed by a search of their home near Pryorsburg in Graves County.

Redmon says after a traffic stop in Mayfield, KSP and detectives found methamphetamine, marijuana and oxycodone pills inside a vehicle being driven by Robyn Vick of Clinton, Kentucky.

Vick had a passenger in her car, Angel Medina, 29, of Mayfield.

According to the sheriff's office, a search warrant was received for the home of Medina and Tracy Sanderson, 38, on Vine Road in Pryorsburg.

During the search, with the assistance of the Graves County K9 unit, marijuana, digital scales and other paraphernalia were found in the home. Also found was a loaded 9 mm Beretta near the marijuana.

A check of Medina and Sanderson showed they were convicted felons, and by law not allowed to have any firearms.

Both Medina and Sanderson were booked into the Graves County Jail.
