The Christian County, Kentucky Sheriff's Office has made a third arrest after an incident at the Christian County High School on Wednesday.
Reports say two teenagers were arrested on Wednesday.
According to the sheriff's office, investigators have determined from witness statements that 17 year old male (name withheld) also had possession of a loaded .380 caliber handgun at some point Wednesday morning at the Gateway Academy building.
The student's name is being withheld.
He is being charged with Unlawful Possession of a Weapon on School Property and Possession of a Handgun by a Minor
Another juvenile was taken into custody at Hopkinsville High School Thursday morning and was being processed through the Court Designated Workers Office.
The sheriff's office says the investigation is active.
