Victim's name released in deadly Eldorado apartment fire

ELDORADO, IL (KFVS) -

The Illinois state fire marshal is investigating an apartment fire on Wednesday night, Oct. 29 after a body was found in the apartment.

The victim is 64-year-old Donald Baker of Eldorado, Illinois, according to the Saline County coroner. No foul play is suspected. 

Saline County Coroner Doug Watson confirmed that a person did die as a result of the fire.

According to the Eldorado Fire Department, the fire was at the Railroad Street Apartments on the 1400 block of Railroad Street.

The coroner says the autopsy was at 1 p.m. Thursday.
