Police investigating reported bullying at Anna high school

ANNA, IL (KFVS) -

The Anna Police Department and Illinois State Police are investigating bullying incidents at the high school, according to Anna Police Chief Scott Rice.

He said they are currently in the process of interviewing "those involved and those that have knowledge

of the incident."

We first brought you the story when the father of the victim came forward claiming his son was bullied by a few student athletes in the boys locker room.

The school has since suspended three students.


Anna-Jonesboro District Superintendent Rob Wright said the incident happened on Friday, Sept. 19.

The Anna-Jonesboro School Board will hold a special disciplinary meeting November 3rd.
