Man involved in two disputes minutes apart, police take in 1

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

A dispute on Sunday in an alley near Fountain Street and Bellevue Street in Cape Girardeau, Missouri ends with one person in police custody.

It happened around 10:15 am. 

It all started when Cape Girardeau Police arrived at the scene to break up a dispute between two men. 

One man involved in the dispute was wearing a light blue shirt. The other man was carrying a legal taser and had an argument. 

The man wearing the light blue shirt told a Heartland News photographer at the scene that the other man threatened him with a taser, and a fight nearly broke out between the two of them. 

Neither men wanted to press charges according to police. 

The light blue shirt man walked down a couple blocks into another alley. Only minutes later, police again responded to another dispute. 

Police again broke up the dispute in an alley near Sprigg St. and Bellevue St. 

The two men were released, including the man wearing the light blue shirt. 

One man was arrested on a failure to appear charge out of Scott County according to Cape Girardeau  Police.
