KY man injured after vehicle hits concrete culvert

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

The McCracken County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to a single vehicle injury collision on Hansen Road.

It happened on Wednesday shortly before 11 a.m.

According ot the sheriff's office, James Turner, 65, of Paducah, Kentucky was westbound on Hansen Road.

Turner's vehicle ran off the right side of the road and struck a concrete culvert wall.

Turner was freed from the vehicle by the Concord Fire Department and Mercy Regional EMS. Turner was transported to a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.

Officers say after the collision Turner was unable to remember why, or what, caused him to run off the road.

Hansen Road was closed between Lynwood Drive and Holt road for approximately 40 minutes for clean-up.
