MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KFVS) - Deputies with the Marshall County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a crash around 7:40 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 21 involving two cars and a school bus on Murray Highway near Cherry Hill Drive in Hardin, Kentucky.
According to deputies, the school bus, driven by Cheyanna Neuman, was stopped northbound on Murray Highway while picking up four children.
They say Norma Reed was driving northbound on Murray Highway and had stopped behind the bus.
Brandy Johnson was going northbound when she told deputies her windshield was fogged up. She said she tried to adjust her defroster at the time of the crash.
Deputies say Johnson's vehicle hit the rear of Reed's vehicle, which pushed it 42 yards along the right side of the bus.
They say the bus driver told them the car skidded past the bus door just as the last child got on. Neither the bus, nor any of the children were hit.
Both Reed and Johnson were taken to a Marshall County hospital with minor injuries.
