CARBONDALE, IL (KFVS) - An investigation is underway by the Southern Illinois University Carbondale Department of Public Safety after the report of a sexual assault on Sunday.
According to police, the alleged assault happened in Neely Hall and the victim and suspects know each other.
The suspects are described as three black males, one 5'9” and 150 pounds, one 5'4” and 118 pounds and one 5'10” and 210 pounds.
Police say those suspects are students and have been placed on interim separation from the university.
The investigation is ongoing.
