Hearnes Elementary receives pumpkin donation

CHARLESTON, MO (KFVS) -

The Southeast Correctional Center donated pumpkins to Warren E. Hearnes Elementary School in Charleston, Missouri. 

"These pumpkins were grown by work release offenders for donation to food pantries, schools and local community centers," SCC Unit Manager Donna Windfall said. 

The pumpkins will be used by students in a Pre-K classroom activity.
