WILLIAMSON COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - A woman convicted of the manslaughter of her daughter will be sentenced in the next two months.
It only took a Williamson County jury 4.5 hours to convict Karrae Starr of involuntary manslaughter.
Investigators say she held her three-year-old daughter's nose and throat closed inside an apartment in 2008.
Starr could get up to 14 years in prison if she gets the maximum penalty.
She was found guilty of murder, but mentally ill, in 2010. That verdict was thrown out on appeal.
