WEST PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Authorities say a bull killed a West Paducah, Kentucky man Thursday afternoon.
According to McCracken County Sheriff Jon Hayden, two men were trying to bury a one bull, when a second bull charged the men.
Police say the bull was standing over 71-year-old Willie Cornwell.
The was acting so aggressive toward emergency crews that it had to be put down so crews could attend to Cornwell.
The death investigation is being handled by the sheriff's department and the McCracken County Coroner's Office.
They determined that Cornwell had been attacked by this bull some 30 yards away from where his body was found.
Cornwell's family indicated that Lindsey Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements.
The West McCracken Fire Department, Mercy Regional Ambulance Service, McCracken County Animal Warden, all assisted the sheriff and corners offices at the scene.
