Paducah man cited in connection with DUI-related crash

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

A Paducah, Kentucky man was arrested in connection with a DUI-related crash.

Christopher Baker, 33, was cited with operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol/drugs first offense, failure to wear a seat belt, failure to produce an insurance card, license to be in possession and reckless driving.

According to the McCracken County Sheriff's Department, on Oct. 13 around 3:57 p.m., they were dispatched to a report of a single vehicle crash in the 3300 block of Rickman Road.

Deputies say they arrived to find Baker behind the wheel of a 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt.

They say the investigation revealed that Baker was driving southbound on Rickman Road while under the influence. Due to his level of intoxication, deputies say Baker left the road and hit a culvert, which disabled the car.
