The Southeast Missouri State University's Catholic Campus Ministry celebrated 100 years this weekend.

Two sisters started the ministry a century ago.

A student who attended the weekend's events said it speaks volumes to know that students and alumni are still as strong today as they were decades ago in participating Catholicism.

Hundreds of people still attend the Catholic church.

One alumni member said this ministry has changed his life along with others he know.

The alumni member said after coming to mass on campus, he changed career paths and is now is working toward becoming a part of the Catholic ministry.
