Police search for suspect in pharmacy armed robbery

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) - Paducah police department is searching for a man who robbed a local pharmacy at gunpoint late Friday afternoon.

Police responded to West Towne Pharmacy just before 6:00 p.m.

Employees said a black male walked through the front door and asking about getting a flu shot.

Two employees were helping another customer at the time, and the man sat down as if to complete paperwork.

He then asked to use the business's bathroom.

When the other customer left, he came out of the bathroom, put on gloves and pulled up his jacket's hood.

He then pulled out a gun and demanded drugs.

The employees put pills into a bag and the man left the store, running across a field across the street.

The employees and a witness described the man as 6-feet to 6-feet-2 and 225 pounds, and in “fit” condition.
