'Tank Chair' helps man camp, hunt and more

CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - It's got the camouflage, the treads and now it has a driver.

The "Tank Chair" is going to be a hard birthday gift to top for one man.

Russell Patton is the new and excited owner of a "Tank Chair."

The tricked out wheelchair will let him do more of what he loves: camping and hunting with friends.

Originally from Olive Branch, Illinois, Russell now lives in Michigan.

But he was in Cape Girardeau for the weekend visiting family for his birthday; and this present outshines any he's gotten before.

"It's actually, I know it was pretty sweet in the pictures but it's pretty awesome. I'm pretty overwhelmed right now," said Patton.

The man behind the machine, "Tank Chair" owner Brad Soden, said the chairs can cost between $15,000 to $18,000.

As for Russell, he plans on testing out his new ride when he returns to Michigan on Monday.
