Police are investigating a mysterious death in Williamson County as a homicide. Allison Twaits was at a press conference on Thursday morning where investigators released some more information. She'll have more on that, coming up on Heartland News at 5 and 6.

Would you feel safer going into an empty home with a stranger if you were armed? It's been two weeks since an Arkansas real estate worker was murdered on the job. The assistant principal at Anna Elementary School District No. 37 has been placed on administrative leave after he was charged with possession of a controlled substance.

One person was in critical condition and another died after a crash on KY 444 at Pittman Drive on Thursday morning. Sheriff's deputies say the crash happened after the driver lost control while passing another vehicle.
