2 cars crash after 1 hits deer on KY 402

MARSHALL COUNTY, KY (KFVS) -

Marshall County sheriff's deputies responded to a crash on KY 402 on Wednesday morning.

According to deputies, around 6:18 a.m. Louie A. Belt, Sr., 73, of Hardin, Ky., was driving westbound on KY 402 while Robert D. Mosbaugh, 46, of Benton, was driving eastbound.

As the two vehicles were approaching each other, deputies say a deer stepped out in front of Belt and he hit it.
