The sheriff's department reports that when Groves was arrested he was wearing multiple layers of clothing and a deputy told him that if any weapons or drugs were found on him, he could face further felony charges.

Groves said he did not have any weapons or drugs.

However, corrections officers discovered methamphetamine and three knives on Groves.

Groves remains in custody in the Scott County Jail.

His bond has been set by the court at $2,5000 cash only.
