SEMO beats nationally ranked Tennessee State

The Southeast Missouri State football team defeated 20th ranked Tennessee State 28-21 on homecoming Saturday.

Lennies McFerren ran for 115 yards and a touchdown in the victory and Ryan McCrum hit a 55 yard field goal in the win.

The Redhawks offense piled up 505 yards total offense against the top defense in the Football Championship Subdivision.

SEMO is now 4-2 overall and 2-0 in the Ohio Valley Conference.
