CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -
Cape Girardeau Police are investigating after a man was shot several times early Saturday morning.
According to Sgt. Jason Selzer, officers were called to the intersection of Morgan Oak and South Sprigg streets around 12:20 a.m.
Officers found a man who had been shot and the victim was then taken to the hospital for multiple gunshot wounds. He is currently in stable condition.
Selzer says this is the second shooting in three days and that investigations into both incidents are underway. The other shooting incident happened Thursday, Oct. 2 in the 500 block of South Pacific. Click here for more information on that incident.
No one is in custody for either shooting at this time.
