CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) - Crews placed a large Pink Up decal on a water tower at the North Cape County Park Wednesday morning.

Saint Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau arranged a decal to be placed on the water tower to spread awareness of breast cancer.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Several other areas in Cape are being "painted" in pink as well.

Crews were raised 120 feet in the air Wednesday morning and took a couple hours to place the Pink Up decal on the tower.

They also plan to place lights on the ground and light up the sign on the water tower at night.
