Former SIU Pitcher gets the Royals Wildcard Win

Former SIU pitcher Jason Frasor was the winning pitcher in Kansas City's 9-8 Wildcard win in 12 innings over Oakland Tuesday night.

Salvador Perez singled down the left-field line in the 12th inning scoring Christian Colon from second base for the winning run.

This marked the Royals first place appearance in 29 years.

Kansas City will now play Albert Pujols and the Angels in the American League Divison Series.
