3 arrested after high speed chase in Kennett

KENNETT, MO (KFVS) -

Three men face charges after a high speed chase in Kennett on Tuesday.

It began when Kennett officers saw a green SUV leaving from Miss Clara Drive that had an expired license plate. 

When officers tried to stop the vehicle, the driver of the SUV continued sped off and sparked a chase. The chase moved to several back streets. 

Three suspects jumped out of the SUV and ran away. When they jumped from the vehicle, it kept rolling and crashed into a home on West Seventh Street. No one was injured when the SUV hit the home.

The three suspects were arrested after a short foot chase.

Jonathan L. Beal 26, of Kennett had two felony warrants for his arrest and two misdemeanor warrants, according to the Kennett Police Department. Beal also faces charges for felony resisting arrest, felony leaving the scene of an accident, careless and imprudent driving, and driving without a license. 

Eddie L. Taylor, 23, of Kennett and Edriko L. Thomas, 21, of Hayti face charges of resisting arrest.
