Remington recalling rifle that may 'unintentionally discharge'

(KFVS) - Remington is recalling models of their rifle they say could "unintentionally discharge" due to excess bonding used in the assembly process.

According to the company's website, an investigation shows that under certain circumstances, the Model 700 and Model Seven rifles with XMP triggers could fire without notice.

Remington says it has the "utmost confidence" in the design, but is recalling the rifles in the name of consumer safety.
