UNION COUNTY, IL (KFVS) - The Union County State's Attorney, Tyler R. Edmonds, announced on Monday, Sept. 29 that a wanted man has been arrested.
Coy B. Thomas was arrested on Sept. 26 around 9:15 p.m. by Jonesboro police officers and Union County sheriff's deputies at a Marion business.
Thomas, 31, was wanted on warrants in two cases.
He was charged in one case with two counts of domestic battery and one count of harassment by telephone. Bail was set at $20,000.
Thomas was charged in the second case with one count of aggravated domestic battery and nine counts of aggravated battery, nine counts of domestic battery, one count of unlawful restraint and three counts of interference with the reporting of domestic violence. Bail was set at $100,000.
Thomas is being held at the Jackson County Jail in Murphysboro, Ill.
He is set to appear before a judge on Tuesday, Sept. 30 at 9 a.m. for his first appearance.
