Driver injured after jeep flips over on I-24

PADUCAH, KY (KFVS) -

Around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, McCracken County, Kentucky deputies were dispatched to a single vehicle collision at the one mile marker on Interstate 24.

Deputies found the driver behind the wheel of his Jeep.

Wittiness said he lost control of his Jeep as he come across the I-24 bridge.

The crash victim ran off the right shoulder and his Jeep began to flip several times in the median.

He was transported to a local hospital for his injuries.

Deputies were assisted on the scene by Mercy Regional Ambulance and Paducah Fire Dept.
