MISSISSIPPI COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

Two Mississippi County men are facing drug charges after an investigation by the Mississippi County Sheriff's Office.

Demitiours Andre Moore, 40, of Charleston, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute, a class B felony punishable upon conviction by not less than five years and up to 15 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections.

Bond for Demitiours Moore was set at $100,000.

Because of previous convictions for distribution of a controlled substance, Demitiours Moore may be subject upon conviction to an enhanced penalty.

Myron Lamont Andrews, 18, of Charleston, was charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance with Intent to Distribute, a class B felony punishable by not less than five years and up to 15 years in the Department of Corrections. Andrews' bond was set at $50,000.

The men were booked into the Mississippi County Detention Center.

After an investigation and search warrant was obtained, the sheriff's office says deputies seized cash, a large quantity of crystal methamphetamine, weapons and ammunition.

At that time, both Demitiours Moore and Myron Andrews were placed under arrest and transported to the Mississippi County Detention Center.

Deputies developed probable cause to believe Demitiours Moore and Myron Andrews both possessed meth for the purpose of selling it; and that Moore had sold narcotics as recently as the even before the raid.

The sheriff's office was assisted by the East Prairie Police Department.
