Police: Suspect points gun at 13-year-old during robbery in Kennett

KENNETT, MO (KFVS) -

Kennett police are investigating a robbery and burglary that happened overnight and early Wednesday morning.

On Wednesday around 2:20 a.m., police officers were dispatched to the 100 block of Bradford Place for a report of a burglary.

When the officers arrived, they were told that a white male wearing a black ski-mask with a skull print, a black hoodie and jeans, entered through a window at the rear of the home.

Police say the suspect pointed a gun at a 13-year-old boy and told him to stay quiet.

The suspect then grabbed a purse and ran out the rear of the home.

While searching the area for the suspect, officers found an open gate next door to the home.

Police learned the home had been burglarized and a .380 Ruger pistol had been taken.

On Wednesday September 24, 2014 at 05:20 a.m. Kennett Officers were dispatched to the 800 block of Devon Place to take a report of a burglary.

The victims said sometime Thursday night someone entered their garage and had went through the vehicles.

At this time, the Kennett Police Department is seeking any information on the recent burglaries and vehicle break ins.
