CAPE GIRARDEAU, MO (KFVS) -

You've probably seen it above Cape Girardeau, and wondered what it is.

A huge blimp was at the Cape Girardeau airport on Wednesday before heading to St. Louis.

The blimp out is promoting the state of Missouri.

The blimp is 194' long, and has 235 cubic ft. of helium. It is propelled by two turbo charged Porsche engines and is made of high-tech poly fabric.

The airship can handle 10 passengers including two pilots.

It cruises at 35 mph but can reach 55 mph.

The 7.1 ton blimp flies at 1,000 ft. but can reach heights of 10,000 ft.

A crew of 16 follows the blimp on the ground. That includes vans and a boom truck.
