Paducah, KY -- The search continues for a missing baby girl from Kentucky almost a week after she disappeared, but the focus of the investigation now changes.

McCracken County investigators tell Heartland News they will still search Massac Creek for any signs of ten month old Katie Gray.  Massac Creek is near Mayfield-Metropolis Road in west Paducah.

The baby's father, Johnny Gray, says he lost grip of her car seat as his truck become submerged in rising flood water in the creek early Tuesday morning.

According to investigators the search will now move into a body recovery stage.  The Sheriff's Department pulled divers from the creek waters Saturday night.  On Sunday, cadaver dogs from four different agencies searched the creek bed.

Meanwhile, investigator and County Coroner, Dan Sims, says police have to look at any leads, including the locations and activities the baby's parents were doing before the incident.

Stay tuned to Heartland News for the latest on the search for Katie Gray.
