REYNOLDS COUNTY, MO (KFVS) -

A Reynolds County woman who was missing has been found alive in Reynolds County. 

Dorothy Brooks, 66, went missing in a silver 2012 Ford Edge with Missouri plates AB8 G5P.

She had been involved in a traffic crash and her vehicle was a short distance from the road. She was airlifted from the crash.

Brooks had a doctor's appointment in Poplar Bluff Wednesday that was rescheduled but she never came home afterward, according to Reynolds County Sheriff Tom Volner.

She was last seen around 12:15 p.m. in the vicinity of Highway U in Carter County.

Brooks is reportedly from the Ellington, Mo. area.
