Two men were arrested on Aug. 12 after deputies with the McCracken County Sheriff's Department executed a search warrant in Paducah, Kentucky.

Loyd Goins, 53, and Bradley Riley, 37, were charged with trafficking methamphetamine over 2 grams, possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. More charges are possible.

Deputies executed the search warrant on Herman in Paducah. They say the warrant was part of an investigation by the Sheriff's Department Drug Division.

According to the sheriff's department, two people were inside the home. They were identified as Goins and Riley. As detectives entered the home, they say Riley was seen running into a bedroom. He was taken into custody immediately after he ran.

During a search of the home, detectives say they found meth, marijuana, scales used to weigh meth and other drug paraphernalia. Evidence of illegal drug trafficking was also found.

According to the sheriff's department, both Goins and Riley are currently on felony parole. They say Goins has four prior convictions for trafficking illegal drugs.
