Jackson man arrested on outstanding warrants

JACKSON, MO (KFVS) -

A Jackson, Missouri man was arrested after police say he ran from them and was found hiding in a shed.

Robert T.R. King, 24, was charged with resisting arrest.

He is being held at the Cape Girardeau County Detention Center on $2,500 bond.

Police say on Aug. 11 an officer was patrolling the area of North Hope Street and East Park Street when he saw an individual he knew to have an active warrant for his arrest.

When the officer tried to make contact with King, police say he ran.

According to police a perimeter was set up in the area by responding officers.

King was found hiding in a shed. He was arrested for two outstanding warrants for his arrest and for resisting arrest by fleeing.
