Two people are facing charges after a mobile meth lab bust in Herrin Monday evening.

Around 6:30, the Energy Police Department's K9 Unit stopped a vehicle in the 1700 block of South Park Avenue.

Police say an active mobile meth lab was seized and a 10-year-old child was found to be inside the car.

Also in the car was 34-year-old Misty L. Rector and 38-year-old Joshua M. Ragan, both of Eldorado.

Rector and Ragan have both been charged with aggravated participation in meth manufacturing, meth related child endangerment and numerous other charges, according to the Energy Police Department.
