CLAY COUNTY, AR (KAIT) - Local authorities found a man who may have held his parents at gunpoint, according to the family. He was considered armed and dangerous.

The Clay County Sheriff's Office said 29-year-old Richard Malone of Corning was wanted for questioning. No details about his arrest are known.

According to the sheriff's office, Malone held his parents at gunpoint and led officers in Clay County on a chase Wednesday.

Sheriff Gerald McClung told Region 8 Malone left behind a weapon and drugs in the vehicle.

Ripley County, Randolph County, Paragould and Jonesboro authorities were also involved in the search for Malone.

Malone is also accused of stealing four vehicles and has warrants out for his arrest in Jonesboro.

According to Clay County Sheriff Gerald McClung, he tried to hide a stolen vehicle but deputies found it and had it towed.

Malone was arrested in Corning and was taken to the Clay County Jail.
